I made some of these for Miller Christmas last year, and they were a big hit! This year I’m making them in-the-round instead of flat.

CO 35 (to make a prettier join)
Divide between needles with 17 and 18 on needles. Slip extra CO stitch (#18) to 1st needle and knit together with the 1st stitch using both the working yarn and the tail. Remember that the 1st stitch has two loops and just knit those as 1 stitch the next round.

For thumb hole:
Row 24 (after two sets of double moss stitch) start turning work to create thumb hole.

Row 33 (after 4.5 sets of double moss stitch have been completed) resume working in the round.
