Finally got around to taking some pictures of this WIP. I am currently working on my second panel (have to make at least four); each will be 45 honeycombs high.

This project, to me, is an act of labor. I am soo bored with the pattern; however, I think it will look beautiful when it is finally done, which I hope to accomplish before the end of May, which is when my niece Katie comes to visit.

5/16 started back up after having finished the sleeves for the Charleston.

5/17 finished the second panel and started with the third.

5/20 finished third panel

5/21 CO 4th panel and knitted 5 honeycombs…

5/25 finished the last panel, YEAH!!! Now, all that’s left is to sew the panels together; if time permits, I might even add an edging to the blanket :)

5;/26 sewn all pieces together, washed the blanket on “knit” in washing machine; yarn is already becoming slightly fuzzy, not tremendously but enough to go “hmmm.” The yarn also became a lot softer after washing.

NOTE about yarn: I like the thick/thin effect of the yarn and I also liked working with it; I encountered a few knots in the yarn, maybe 4 over 12 skeins; that’s not too bad. also, the yarn broke one time without me pulling or anything; that flabbergasted me. I had never had anything like this happening before, unless I pulled on the yarn--that was weird.
