To those interested. This is knit using two strands of unspun plotulopi, one from the outside of the cake and one from the center. Note if you have never used this type of yarn. Open the center just a bit if it is compressed so the center strand can flow freely. Also set the cake into/on something so to keep the integrity of the cake intact and the strands flowing freely no tugging. That will make for smooth sailing.

Love the way Plotulopi knits and how it feels after a nice hot bath. A wonderful soft warm cloud. Have been using this “yarn” for over thirty years and hope to use it for at least that many more.

Finished just needs a bath and photos.

Well had a bath (so soft, fluffy and squishy, love that) these photos are indoors due to inclement weather (-5 degrees out) so more to come.
Just a side note --- the colors seem to mirror the weather. Sharp cold blue skies, snow and cold alternating with dark grey cloudy and snowy days
