My phone cosy needed washing so I decided to make another one. This time I used the Regia wool singly and used a 3.5 hook. (I’d have liked to use a 3mm hook but I didn’t have one with me.)

It’s a simple fsc chain just slightly smaller than the width of the phone. I used sc down one side and up the other then crocheted in a spiral till I reached the top of the phone. I joined to the last stitch of the row using a sl st, then ch1 and sc into the first st ^ch1, sk next sc, sc into next st^ repeat to end, sl st to join. Next row: 2sc into each sp, sl st to join.

The tie handle is a simple chain, threaded through the spaces and knotted.
