Notes

It is finished, and it is fricking gorgeous. A Phoenix. (That will be the name of the pattern if I manage to produce one before chicken get teeth).

Another colourmart’s odds and ends shawl, in sunny warm colours. This time it is heavyweight lace cashmere in 3/28, knit double. Most of the shawl has been knit during my travelling in Romania. Souvenirs close to my hearts will keep me warm and happy.

To give an estimated yardage of the yarn: The washed shawl weights 151gr. I am guessing with the oil it was heavier before.

Module : 12 ridges
Before border, after last yo row:
3; 165; 1; 165; 3 -> 3; 331; 3
blabla forget it, using godmother’s

edit 11 march: I cannot believe I am going to rip the border for a SECOND time because I haven’t enouch yarn. And I am not even mad!!!

      • old bla bla - - - 2/372 egding asks for 16 ridges/pattern repetition. -> 10 repeats + one, easing at the point on 11 ridges. If I follow the module and adapt to 12 ridges: i must fidle a lot more. 13 repeat on one side is not enough. 13x12=156; 14x12=168. with 14: 14x11=154, rest 11+1+11=21
