Note: I had a hard time getting this to lay perfectly flat. A friend of mine had the same issue. So I would cast off with a needle a couple size bigger and use a stretchy bind off in the k2tog sections and a regular one in the yarn over sections. (Jenny’s Surpisingly Stretchy one from knitting.com is a good one)

The yarn I had gotten for this project was a light worsted weight alpaca. I started it and it was just too thin. I was going to have to go down needles size. I wanted this to be a faster project so I went stash diving.

I had 7 skeins of the City Tweed for a sweater that was not going to be able to happen for a while so I am using that and I love it. It is just the right weight and I love the color.
