April 6th 2011:I am sure I saw it in the first Mason -Dixon book: using 6 blocks (3 times 2) you can make a rug . I don’t own this book(yet) and I couldn’t check it out a second time , but I know that it was there. I plan to crochet a border around it and give it to James as an Easter present. I’d like to put a no-slip pad underneath it , so we don’t use it as a slide….
April 13th 2011: working of the fourth block of the second rug(cornflower blue background) for husband Martin…Still haven’t put together James’s blocks, though…
April 20th: finished all 18 blocks(6 green for James, 6 blue for Martin and 6 pink for me, sigh why did I pick up pink I don’t know…), now sewing and crocheting some kind of border…
April 26th 2011: all three rugs are finished….I crocheted a simple border(three rows) and had to do J’s one twice because I picked up and crocheted too many stitches first time around. They look nice, I don’t know how functional they’ll be….
