A note on pattern: if you get it directly from Knit Picks’ website, it is one of the $ 1.99 downlooad, less than here on Ravelry.
June 5th: cast of for a baptismal blanket. The nice pattern calls for yellow and black. I opted for white because it is for a Christening, but it looses a bit, of course.
June 6th. Finished first repeat of bees. Cute!!!
June 8th: finished main body, knitting the borders; as stated by another Ravelry knitter, instructions are wrong. I picked up 102 stitches on the side, therefore the blankie is squarish(which is good for my purpose). If you want it longer , you must add a repeat. Otherwise, a quick knit and I recommend using yellow and black to get a real sense of the pattern….
Finished on June 9th, a veery easy and smooth knit!
