Notes

April 17th: I cast on a Baptismal blanket for my church. I doubled up sock yarn because I wanted something easy care but nicer than the usual easy care and affordable enough. It is destined to a little guy who’s born today by cesarean section, third child of a young couple from Newmarket, Nh. Welcome to the world!
The pattern is nasty, meaning with this that there’s no peace, you have to keep your eyes on pattern all the time, even on back rows….oh, well….maybe it’s the time I’ll “watch” Downton Abbey from Netflix….
April 25th: not that much progress this week. I cast on adding 34 stitches because I am using number 7 needles . This means 1 more repeat and it will probably mean two more repeats in length. I think it really looks “precious”.
April 30th: i finished it yesterday, it’s blocking on my bed. It’s lovely after a nice wash because the frost flower stitches really opened, sort of bloomed.
I used slightly less than 4 balls, so I have enough for a second bag the same.
