May 15th: I am knitting the first of -hopefully-two poodles for Lisa and her spouse. I found today the most similar colors to their real dogs. I like the yarn, not so mush the pattern!
July 2nd: i picked up this project again after a long hyatus…Knitted all the pieces of the reddish poodle, now onto silver grey one. I did not knit the collar because i want to ask the ladies first….Knitting is smooth, I am dreading the finishing part.
July 3rd: finished the pieces for both dogs, maybe tomorrow I can start assembling them?
July 15th: I finished them this morning. Yesterday I finally found time to assemble them. They turned out ok but they really need boucle yarn to resemble poodles. The yarn I chose was my best solution but it doesn’t curl of course. Maybe I should have done loop stitch all over….argh the thought!
