May 3rd 2011: started Spud and checked Susan B. Anderson’s blog. I saw her tutorial on the loopy stitch. It’s helpful and I’m trying to improve the appearance of the loops.
May 4th: slow progress on the loops, but much better looking, I’m getting the knack of it!!!
May 8th: finished body, nice , round and big. James used it to play ball. Now onto the head.The rest should knit fast and safely.
May 9th: today I knitted the head. No prob here.
May 10th: I wanted to finish it so much, so I knitted all of the remaining pieces .A bit tedious, especially the bow and the collar. Then I was in a hurry to sew them in place and I think I could have done a better job with the head, it’s a bit high, therefore my Spud is, well…fierce or proud…
