March 1st 2011: started this Tiny Tea Leaves for my niece while at the book fair at James’s school. Not many sales, I’m afraid, so I could read some picture books AND knit. Finishing the ruffle part of the yoke tonight….
March 2nd: finished the yoke,divided for the sleeves and now working on the body…
March 3rd: knitting on the sleeves. I don’t have enough yarn to finish them both. I don’t think I’ll find the same dye lot. Should I make short ones or try it with a different dye lot?Maybe I prefer shorter sleeves… I shouldn’t have used this color because I only had 2 skeins and I trusted somebody on Ravelry who managed to finish the same size with the same yarn …. different hands though!
March 5th: finished and stitched the buttons. Short sleeves version for lack of yarn, still wearable by my fairy green goggled niece in Italy, whenever she’ll get it….Color is more true to life in the last two photos!!
