Personal note: Unless a project has complex stitches or an intriguingly textured pattern, I do not do monotone well at all. Boring!

Stitch concept converted from Whit’s in-the-round pattern, to two-sided on 29” circulars. RS is done k2tog tbl, dropping only end st on left; WS is p2tog, dropping only end st on left.

CO 220 sts, 10 rows stockinette top band folded (CO & live sts purled tog on WS), before starting herringbone stitch.
