This hat is knitted as my other hats with cables. At first I knitted a cable around the head with 4 garter stiches on one side and 1 on the other. Then I picked up stiches 160 st around the 1 stich-side, and knitted cables over 6 stiches and purls over 4, 16 times it until it is time for decreasing. The 4 stiches garter edge turns easily by itself to the back, when you put the hat on. Or you can show the garter band for a little more slouchy hat. The yarn is purchased here
