Finally I finished an UFO started in the fall of 1988. Somehow it began to hibernate after I had finished everything except the two front pieces from the arm hole up. I finally lost the pattern and had a resistance to try to figure out how to finish it. It was very big (with a deep V in front) so I felted it lightly. I had no clue of the closing, but got a suggestion by Tiina. Found nice blue/bronze buttons with rein deers in my button stash. I did not add cables around the arm holes as Tiina also suggested, just one row of crocheting. My hubby had to wait for 23 years for his west in his favourite color. But he got nice compliments today by a young lady, the first day he wore it - was’nt that worth waiting for?
