Made for a cosplay I’m currently hoping to finish on time. This damned helmet has 11 freaking stages of completion. It breaks down as follows:

1. Crown of helmet (picture #1)
2. First ear flaps (picture #2)
3. Chin flaps and start of yellow triangle (picture #3)
4. Stripes x2 (picture #4)
5. Increase of yellow triangle (picture #5)
6. Red detailing (picture #6)
7. Medallion (picture #7)
8. Helmet wings x2 (picture #8)

The edging on the helmet, the increase on the triangle, and the wings all had floral wire worked into them so they will keep their shape. Other than that, it’s a lot of half-double crochet and a smattering of single crochet. And swearing. A lot of swearing.

I’m very pleased with it, and I think it’s gonna go over great.
