July 11, 2015 After talking with the bestie, we left the sweater as is, and it’s now a run-around sweater since we couldn’t get the cuffs quite right. No big. We cracked a secondary plan for a costume in no time.

July 3, 2015 The body is nailed down! Just need to add the cuffs and get the star made. But the big job is complete, and I’m pleased.

July 1, 2015 Finally got the sleeves done! I am so happy I can’t even tell you. They were a bear just because the rows took so long compared to when I was working on the body. So happy to be moving on to the rest of the back.

June 28, 2015 About 2/3rds of the way into the sleeves, I think. It’s a slog to get through because it’s just very long rows of hd stitches, but that’s why Netflix binging was invented. I’ve confirmed the headhole is well-placed and hope to finish off the sleeves by the weekend.

June 18, 2015 After a few weeks’ hiatus, I’m back on this sweater hard and fast. I’ve hit the headhole, and that puts me at the halfway mark. Can’t wait to see the other side come together.

May 22, 2015 Made it to sleeve-like appendages! Very close to the neckline.

May 1, 2015 Two skeins in, and I am much happier with the edge on the garment than before. I’m getting about 5-1/4” per skein, and that’s quite nice. Skein three will get it up to the armpits, and skein 4 will start the arms. I’m excited.

April 28, 2015 Had to frog and restart the sweater when I realized the edges didn’t look right. I have started skein 2 again and look forward to catching back up.

April 22, 2015 Sweater has officially begun. Getting 5” per skein, and the sweater needs to be 48” long with 18” sleeves on either side, so it’ll be a bit.
