Notes

I have this stash of Patons fuzzy, lightweight yarn, and I just wanted to kill it, so I made a sweater. I worked from the bottom up, first making the front rectangle, then attaching the sleeves by chaining stitches for sleeve length and attaching to the first part of the row, working across, and then chaining out again. I worked up until I was at my neck and chained where I wanted the neckhole to be then started working my way down the back.

The back detailing was done by chaining across the back, then attaching the short chain rows to that and working downward, then back up. I like this detailing a lot; it’s probably one of the best fixes I’ve come up with.

I seamed the arms before I seamed the sides, and it gave a nice curve to the fabric that’s very flattering. I’ve got some yarn leftover still, so this may become a dress in the future. For now, it’s on the shelf while I finish another project.
