May 25/13: inspired by sgfishy’s two-colour variation. I’m really excited to see how this ends up looking; the results are intriguing so far.

May 27/13: finished knitting tonight. Looks like I’m going to have to fudge the numbers for how much yarn I’ve got left over. There are 17g (which measures out to about 28.25 yds) remaining for Glazed Pecan and 63g for Flashdance (which, by the resultant calculation, should be about 104.7 yds). Incidentally, this yarn really is worth the extra money, if one can afford it; it’s soft and high-twist. My only possible complaint is that the dye doesn’t seem to completely saturate the yarn, but I kinda like the effect it has as a result.

May 28/13: dry tonight! I love this cowl. Gawd, I never thought I’d be a cowl person.
