I spotted this shawl on the podcast and loved it!
I bought the pattern when I realised I had some stash yarn I could knit it with, and I plan for it to be an accessory to an outfit I have planned for a wedding at the end of April.

I was a bit uncertain of how it would work in the yarn I chose, because of the mohair content, but I am thinking now that I have done a few rows it is going to be really lovely in that yarn also. I am using a 4mm needle. I am only using 2 colours and working exactly to the pattern as recommended in the notes - up to the end of Section 4.

I lengthened Section 5 and added my own variations at the end.

I am really keen to make another one of these sometime - with the recommended yarn (or close to it). And although I love this specimen, I think the pattern would ‘pop’ more if knitted using a yarn with no halo. If you care to read my blog post you will, among other things, also learn why - although I love the end product - I won’t be knitting with this yarn again!
