Following structure for toe up socks and shadow wrap short rows from super sock calculator and following patterning from Dumbledore Christmas Socks for #23hpkal2017
Swatch was bang on 8sts / inch on US2 needles
Caston with 14 stitches on each needle and continue to work increases till you reach 64 stitches across all needles.
Once you have knit 7.5” from the tip of the toes it is time to turn the heel. You work the heel on half of the stitches only - in this case 32 stitches. Knit the shortrows till you have 14 stitches left in the center. Then you pick up the stitches again till you reach the full 32 stitches.
To add some fun / contrast, I’m using opposite skeins for cuff, toes and heels

due the yarn i picked the fact I swapped out skeins for the toe makes no difference - Altho to ensure the right amount of yarn is used, i’ll have to repeat it for the other sock
The super sock calculator is the holy grail of sock sizing! I was worried the sock would be to loose - but I know that you won’t know until you turn the heel - and they are a perfect fit and am very please and they are practically knitting themselves!

Started on the first chart for the foot, was almost done when I realized I wasn’t doing st st for the insole .. hella sign .. tink tink tink back I go - altho the idea of ripping it back was very attractive - but I had no issues with the toe and didn’t feel like starting from stitch 1

And done! loving the shadow heel - just need to find a ‘neater’ looking bind off that is stretchy .. I did this one as a fall back only cause I’m tired and I wanted these done before bed tonight!
