Miette #2 ~ Just in time for the chilly days ahead. It’s for fall so this time i made it in wool and extended the sleeves all the way.

Photos were taken pre-blocking. Being an in-between size there is hardly any negative ease around the body so I’m hoping washing/blocking will shrink it down a little bit. Will update on that soon..

Post-washing update (Top 3 photos):
Got the negative ease i wanted! It went down about an inch overall.. I’m very pleased with the results.

I think the dryer did the trick… handwash, squeeze out as much water as u can with a bath towel (roll with it). Then placed it flat on a rack inside the dryer for about 20 mins on low heat. Con’t letting it dry on it’s own for another 2 days. No blocking necessary.

Gauge after wash: 20sts = 4”

Mods:

• Gauge @ 18sts = 4” Follow M size.

• M1 instead of kf&b on raglan inc. ~ on hindsight i could have just follow the pattern…

• Waist shaping - begin at 2” below armhole, dec 2 sts each side every 4th round.

• Reverse twisted ribs to face inside (k2, p2tbl) ~ i find the sts looks nicer n matches the body better this way ;)

• Full sleeves - dec every 13th round 7 times starting from underarm ending with 40 sts on last round before lace pattern.
