Inspired by Jewel and Sundance. Lace stitch is called ‘Clusters’ taken from Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns:

Work with a multiple of 4 sts plus 1.
Row 1: k1, “yo, k2tog, k2”; rep “to”
Row 2: p1, “p2tog, yo, p2”; rep “to”
Row 3: k3, “yo, k2tog, k2”; rep “to”, end yo, k2tog
Row 4: p1, “yo, p2tog, p2”; rep “to”
Row 5: k1, “k2tog, yo, k2”; rep “to”
Row 6: p3, “yo, p2tog, p2”; rep “to”, end yo, p2tog
Repeat these 6 rows for pattern.

It fit me! Ok, will have to start looking for another pattern for the girls. Not exactly my color but it’s a keeper. Still need buttons for the sides tho….

Just a little more on the back and then the armholes. Originally mend for my niece but I think the design is a little ‘oldish’ and the size came out way too big for a 12yo. May end up keeping it for myself.
