I am completely in love with this pattern, the pockets of course make it a winner but the semi fitted style is perfect.

I took the advice of previous Kaari knitters and went down a needle size to get correct gauge. Having said that, at one point I thought it might turn out too small but I ploughed on regardless and am so pleased I did. I also didn’t have 112 stitches to pick up for the neckband but was able to create some quite easily and all was well.

The Cascade took a little getting used to, and I actually thought it may turn out rather scratchy but I think it’ll be just fine. In fact, it should be super snug and cosy for the autumn/winter.

It’s true, there is a lot of seaming to do but that’s a small price to pay for such an amazing end result. I couldn’t be more happy with my Kaari!
