My version vaguely resembles the original. I wanted to make a car coat for taking the kids to/from school.

Mods: Added 1 extra row of hip shaping, hood, long sleeves. Also added garter trim around the hood and neckline to match the bottom hem.

Blocking now!

PU 4 sts under arm.
Decrease to 22 sts (every 4 rows or so) until you hit midarm, then knit straight.
