10/17/13- I ended up deviating from this pattern a bit because my choice of yarn was a little lower gauge, and very soft and drapey.

For the body of the scarf, I followed the pattern but added a row of slip stitch after the final row (the finishing edge was much stretchier than the starting edge). I also added a line of slip stitch to the center of the scarf, so it would hold it’s shape better.

The border is lovely, especially for how simple it is, and I ended up taking that all the way around the scarf.
