Cast on 28 stitches with a figure 8 cast on (invisible provisional on 2 needles). German shortrowed (excluding the first and last stitch) down to 12, knitted ‘in between rows’ which doublestitched the first and last stitched, and then german shortrowed from the center 12 stitches outwards. Joined in the round after picking up the double stitches on the left and knitted the double stitched on the right after I knitted needled 2. Knitted 5 rounds in total before I joined the second yarn for the helix.
