This bag looks like a quick project!
Of course some sewing is involved.
The yarns were from unraveled afghan.
Purple is not my color, but have quite a few friends who would love to get this bag.

So far my project is going smoothly.

I crocheted 21 rows/rounds.
Instead of cutting off the yarn for every new round, I just carried it up on the back of my fabric.
On the last row I crochet 3 dc clusters without chain 1 in between (to make it a bit tighter) = 65sts on each side.
For bag sides, I sc in such rapport - 2sc, skip1, 1sc, skip1… = 39sts
Finished my last round and the sides measure 19,5”.

Side edges - only 5 rows of sc, so I don’t have to fold & double the fabric.

Purse handles are attached. This was quite easy.
Fabric for lining is ready and pinned in.
The color is Dark Olive - gorgeous silk fabric!
Fabric is sewn in. Even made a double pocket.

Snap is in place!
I covered them with - crochet round on the back and a flower in the front.

Crocheting was fast, sewing took the longest.
Bag is very pretty.
I might want to make another one soon
