This was a very quick project -two days to knit and one day to block. Size 24” x 52”. Has “an opera look”. Quite happy with it.

++++ The yarn and shawl look much better than on the pictures. It is soft enought and sparckles nicely. It is made with two strands of yarn - nowelty (scratchy) and mohair (soft).

++++ I didn’t do all the required rows of the edging - didn’t have enough yarn (I have 6 skeins of yarn and want to make two shawlettes as gifts…).
So happy I purchased this yarn at the discount store - wouldn’t pay the retail price for it. Really!

----- The mohair strand of yarn was shady. When I gave the shawl a bath - the water was very…hm…black!

----- A little scratchy on my neck, but, well, it’s very pretty!

Later on I added another 3 skeins to the shawl. It is a nice size now and belongs to my sis-in-law. She is so happy!
