Modelled here by my gorgeous new baby at 4 weeks old. I’m really happy with the fit on him, the length and the length of the sleeves look spot on and while it’s a bit bigger in general than a typical NB cardi, I like that it should fit a bigger babe like mine (he was 9lb4) for longer than a couple of weeks…especially when you’ve invested the time and yarn into it)

I decided to try popping a cable in the raglan for this as I was knitting it up This was just a 4 stitch cable as I was knitting a weeny cardy, but a bigger 8 stitch cable like some of the ones tikki uses in her fabulous Milo pattern would be a piece of cake in a bigger sized garment.
