June 17, 2013: I have finished the body and I am about to start my bottom ribbing… however, I am mindful (using my new F2F knowledge) that I do not want to make my sweater too long. I am trying to find some balance between the extended gray at the top and bottom of my sweater and think that I will be able do this more effectively with sleeves completed. So I am going to switch over to knitting sleeves and leave the ribing for now. The plan- right now- is to knit elbow length sleeves.

May 5, 2013: The knitting is slow as the rows are very long. However, I am just about to put the sleeves on waste yarn so that should speed things up. I decided to do 10 stripes of colour (pattern- 4 blue, 1 orange, 1 blue, 4 orange). I’m still undecided about how long to make the body.

April 21,2013: I’m moving right along on this sweater. 3 blue stripes in and I still have a long way to go. I am concerned about size. I love this yarn! Colours are rich an excellent stitch definition.
