Notes

Excellent pattern; I see why it’s so popular. Pleasant and easy to work.

Info
Started this as another Muir shawl, but realized I don’t have enough yarn; switched to Swallowtail, which I’ve had long-queued.

Pattern Modifications
I expanded the Lily of the Valley motif to a 12-stitch repeat, so that the Diamond Lace pattern would flow into it evenly. The first Lily of the Valley section is done with seven-stitch nupps, the second repeat is done with nine-stitch nupps. The Scalloped Lace Edging is worked with a one-into-three stitch in place of the plain knit stitch between the two yarn-overs, to make the scalloped points longer and more dramatic than otherwise.
