Notes

I LOVE THIS SWEATER! i fell in love the minute I saw it and had to knit it. I substituted Tosh Chunky instead of holding fingering weight doubled and it worked out perfectly. The sweater is squishy and soft and exactly what I’d hoped for.

I made the body a bit longer - I heard the body runs really short - but otherwise I followed the pattern pretty exactly.

My gauge worked out so that when knitting the 42” I was able to get a 39/40” sweater that gave me the 4-5” of ease the pattern called for.

One note - I had to go down two needle sizes for brioche in the round to match my gauge for flat brioche - flat I used a size 9 and in the round I used 7s.

Also, I only used three needle sizes for the cowl. Started with 6s for the first two needle sizes, then moved to 7s and finished with 8s.

The yarn grew a bit during blocking, but I threw it in the dryer on the second to lowest setting for about 10 minutes and it fluffed right up and pulled itself back in. I love throwing superwash yarns in the dryer as a final touch. I usually do it in five minute increments because I’m paranoid, but I’m always so happy with the results!

Awesome pattern - even more awesome sweater!!
