This hat took exactly 1 skein (200 yd) of yarn, including the gigantic pom pom. Though not the most attractive hat (on me), it’s the warmest, at least for the 30 minutes or so I had it on!! The double brim in garter st is brilliant, esp. in Peace Fleece. I picked up 80 st around the brim and made up a simple cable rib repeat above the brim.
