Finished Section 1 a few days ago. Am planning to do a small swatch to practice the brioche before trying it on my shawl. Loving this knit so far.

Started the brioche section today. I did a little practice swatch last week and it’s been going fine so far. I’m using D in place of C, to give it a little more contrast. Took my friend Jacey’s (JaceynotJC) advice and have been moving the yarn to the front/back to secure the slyo’s along the edges.

Finally sat down and finished the brioche section today (section 2). I really enjoyed knitting it! Started section 3, using B and D in place of D and C.

Finished section 3 yesterday. It was a bit of a challenge to make myself work on it, since each row is now so long. k1,p1 for a million stitches is not fun!

Knitted the A rows and did one full repeat of section 4, it’s going to go a lot faster than section 3! I’m using B and C instead of B and D.

Finished the final border and bind off today! YAY! The bind off took forever but was totally worth it. Used the Kitchener stitch for the last 6 stitches. It’s getting a good soak now, then it needs a good blocking and all the ends woven in.
