Notes

I found this pattern after buying this beautiful yarn.

This is a lovely pattern! Easy to follow (I don’t find it as intuitive as some lace charts, but still straightforward).

I placed stitch markers ever pattern repeat and for the different sections - I use small lace stitch markers (simple metal rings with a bead at the join), and it is easy to move the stitches over the marker on the rows where the repeats shift.

When I saw all the charts for the pattern I was worried how I would be able to keep track of 3 separate charts at once, but the pattern is so well done and the charts line up!

The yarn is so soft and the colours are beautiful and subtle so as not to interfere with the lace.

I did 6 repeats of the increase charts and then switched to the improvised chart described in the project mwaa’s Steam Age Arietta - works beautifully.
I did 11 repeats of the straight section and then started the decrease charts.

44g of yarn leftover.

Lovely pattern and yarn - I am so pleased with how this turned out and I know it will be useful.

It didn’t take too long to make it, just looks like it because I worked on other projects as well.
