Ingenious pattern. Simple, but with enough variation to keep in interesting. The yarn is perfect for this pattern.

After blocking it it 175cm/69” long (not including tassels), and 33cm/13” wide at the point.

Modification - I really liked Wandertulpe’s Bridesmaid, and because I love tassels, I added some too. At the end of knitting I separated the stitches for each part of the braid and knit 8 stitches (I had to decrease the extra stitch on two of the pieces). I knit a regular I-Cord (all knit stitches, at the end of the row I moved the stitches to the other end of the needle). I knit the sections for about 5 inches, with single decreases starting after 2.5” - decreasing down to 5 stitches for the last half inch. regular bind off of stitches at the end. I added a little fringe (with a crochet hook) to each end, braided the sections and tied a knot to hold it all together. At the other end (the beginning of the knitting), I picked up 8 stitches for each section and knit it the same as the other end. The last 3 photos.
