I’ve come back to an old favourite to knit. I’m using a different yarn this time -- something softer for a young baby -- and am marvelling at how easy it is to knit this time. Makes sense, to think about it, since I’ve learned a lot since I last made one of these.

I may actually try solid sleeves this time, depending how much of this scrap yarn I have. I should theoretically have enough, considering how much of this is left over, but it’s always good to have a backup plan.

Finished the trim but I think I’m going to rip it out and do it again. I need to pick up every stitch and not every second. The sweater is bunching up instead of draping nicely.

Ripped out the trim and redid it, then finished the first sleeve. I decided on a solid dark blue with rainbow cuffs. The end product looks really sharp. The sweater is almost done and I’ll be posting pics as soon as I finish.

Finished it up. All I need are buttons. A trip to the LYS on Tuesday might be in order.
