I wish I had a baby head available to model this hat, because when it is worn the points look like little ears.

I knit this with no modifications. I chose to close the top with Kitchener stitch, but the directions are flexible and you can use three-needle bind-off or bind-off and seam.

This pattern was designed for a solid color yarn, but the stitch pattern worked out well with the variegated yarn as it prevented pooling and produced a cute tweedy look.
