Cast on 100 st on size US 3 needles.
24 rows in k2 p2 ribbing in color for “cupcake pleated paper liner” (pale blue with speckles)

change to “cupcake color” (chocolate brown)
knit 1 round and then purl 5 rounds

change to “frosting color” (pink)
knit 1 round

then complete bobble round
k1 mb, k3 around (repeat around); end knit 2.

turn and purl the 3 stitches
turn and knit the 3 stitches
turn and purl the 3 stitches
turn and knit the 3 stitches
turn and sl1 purlwise, p2tog, and then then pass slipped stitch over slipped stitch and then turn. Move stitch from left hand needle to right hand needle.

After bobble round, knit 24 rounds in “frosting” color pink. Begin decreases k8, k2tog, THEN knit 1 round with no decreases.
Next dec round k7, k2tog, THEN knit 1 round.
Continue in this manner until 6 stitches remain.

Change to “cherry” color red and knit in 6 st I-cord until a few inches long. K2tog 3 times (3 st remain). Then sl1, ktog, psso, fasten off. Tie I-cord in a knot.
