07-17-2010 I started this scarf two days ago, but ripped out the entire thing last night. I got confused on the second lace portion. Yes, there ARE 3 garter stitches at the beginning and ending of each row! duh!!! I ripped back to the eyelet portion so many times that the eyelet portion got a bit stretchy and goofy looking. Sooo glad I started over; second attempt is looking much better. I also realized I was doing the s2kp incorrectly. Slip 2 TOGETHER (not separately) as if to knit, knit 1, pass the slipped stitches over the k1. Amazing how good it looks when you do it correctly! duh!!!!! This is my first time using a yarn like this and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. The stitch definition is so pretty.

02-25-2011 Out of hibernation. I am determined to get this done. Already on the third lace pattern! Wow, this seems much easier as I am knitting the second half… why was I procrastinating!?
