Still need to block and photograph

Quick knit. Cable instructions were confusing at first, and the decreases required shuffling stitches between needles, but that wasn’t explained very well. I figured it out.

If I do this pattern again, I would definitely replace the stockinette brim with ribbing. As written, it flares outward with this squishy yarn. I’m hoping blocking fixes that.

Love working with Lush. I understand it felts like crazy, but it’s heaven to knit with and I’m hoping that hat won’t take too much abuse. Because it’s so floppy, I’d either use smaller needles or go down a size (cast on 10 fewer stitches) in this pattern. I made a medium for my medium-sized head, but it’s a little big.
