This smart hat is one of my kids favorites. It makes the scarfs unnecessary, does not fall of the head when they run and climb things, covers the ears and keeps the kids warm.
The hats look wonderful on boys and girls alike. Take relatively little yarn and a pleasure to knit. If you have ever wanted to try knitting socks but were putting it off - here is your chance for a practise run, this hat is shaped like a regular sock heel.
