Fun fun fun!!! This project is taking on a wonderful snugly soft blanket in look and feeling. I decided to just have fun with all the many different washcloth patterns out there on Ravelry and mix and match all the patterns together. I am casting on about 36 to 38 stitches but no more to make sure all my squares are about the same size.
I can still play with the border a little once I knit about 12 squares in total. But till then I will buy 3 more colours to go along with what we have so far. Keeping in minde we do not know if mom will have a girl or boy baby….
In the first 2 picture you can see the blanket all finished.
Then all the following Pictures are with the individual squares. Only for the last three squares I forgot to take individual shots to show you….I was so happy to see it coming together that I totally forgot to take them.
1st Pic: Dragon Fly. (Yellow)
2nd Pic: Heart Cloth. (Yellow)

And now all my squares are completed. I am working a crochet edge around them for now and then sew them together. Worked a chain stitch crochet border around the edge to make it nice and simple. I did not want too much going since we do not know if it is for a boy or girl baby. So simple was just the right idea as the squares have patterns in them.
