I’m knitting the 34” size with some waist shaping and hip increases. I worked as specified to the sleeve separation. I cast on 1 extra st per side for the underarms to be about 36.25” at the bust. Worked as specified till 7” from underarm (where my natural waist hits). Worked mirrored ssk and k2tog decreases at the sides every 4 rows 3 times, 6 stitches decreased. Worked at this stitch count for about 1.5 inches, then increased with mirrored M1R and M1L increases every 4 rows 4 times. Then I worked about 6 more rows and made a final increase row before the garter edging, so my final stitch count was about 6 stitches greater than specified by the 34” size at the hip area.

I added a crochet chain bind off at the bottom inside of the garter stitch to give this a firmer edge for the shoulders. Before this, the super stretchy garter was slipping down my shoulders in a way I didn’t like. You can see where I did this in the final project picture that shows the inside of the collar.
