For my good friend Debbie, she isn’t a “frou frou lacy person” per say, but she does like texture patterns, hand painted yarn, and large shawls that don’t look “too grandma” looking. This pattern and yarn screamed her. The purple is really going to bring out the green hazel color in her eyes!

I would definitely knit this again for gift giving. Easy to remember lace pattern. A great knit if you want to watch TV or a project to work on while you are in gross in conversations with your knitting group.
