Woo! Finished and blocking. The pearls look amazing, they were a bit pricey but totally worth it. They really make the shawl something special. So excited to wear it with the dress! More pictures to come…

Just about to start the border. Ordered some off-white freshwater pearls to accent the border and add a little weight to the shawl. They should get here in a couple days and then hopefully I can finish it up!

Getting some time in on this shawl whenever I can. Slow going though, the yarn is lovely and super soft but it’s a pain in the butt to knit lace with - the fuzz makes it hard to pick out individual loops and lots of tangles… Looks like it will be worth it in the end though so nothing to do but persevere!

Life Milestone coming up - I’m getting married in October 2015 to my best friend and companion of 4 years :)
I’ve looked at a lot of shawls and I’ve picked this one to make for my wedding shawl. I think I’ll add some pearls to the fringe points or something like that just add a little something extra special.
