Notes

Combined a full skein of One Pound ‘Rose’ with the ‘Taupe’ remaining from last week’s ‘Asymmetry’ and then added some Magic Match III BULKY in cream, which happens to be about the same thickness as One Pound, and an anonymous variegated.

Since the variegated yarn is thinner, I did those rows in Half Double Crochets, instead of ‘regular’ Doubles, so they feel more like the One Pound rows.

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - this time I changed up to an I hook, but still used only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.

Notes to Self:

With a size I hook, a skein of One Pound yields 44 ripple rows, while a skein of BULKY makes 9 rows; 4 remaining skeins of BULKY = 36 more rows available.
