I love how this cardigan turned out! I was a bit iffy at first of the shade of the yarn which really is the colour of Strawberry Quick, but I like it very much now.
This yarn was purchased online on sale, and was softer than I had expected which was a very pleasant surprise, and it has wonderful drape.
I knit two rows in reverse stockinette before knitting a 1X1 ribbing at the neckline.
I knit five rows of 2X2 ribbed button bands as suggested by other Ravelry knitters.
I knit the lovely bobble section as written on the chart instead of substituting the moss stitch that so many knitters did. I like the textural interest of the bobbles and if purling three together is challenging (I believe this was the complaint?), then I suggest loosening up tension on the previous row.
Lace edged long sleeves modification:
Directions written for size Large - must be adjusted for other sizes)

Insert a marker at beg of round (mid underarm),
Knit 10 rows.
Work a decrease row this row, (decrease one stitch on either side of marker = 2 sts decreased) and every 10th row, 4 times (8 sts total decreased) = 47 stitches.
Knit 20 rows even.
Work an increase row this row (increase one stitch on either side of marker = 2 sts increased) and every 10th row, 7 times (14 sts total increased) until there are 61 stitches. Knit 1 row even. (This produced a 21 inch sleeve.)

I knit a size large with a 5 mm needle as I wanted a loose fitting sweater that I could wrap up and snuggle in when I’m lounging around the house on cold days.
If I knit this again (I might!) I would knit an extra large for the looser fit I was looking for. I’d also knit the sleeves 1 1/2 inches shorter. This sweater knit up fast - I finished it within 10 days. All the stockinette stitch means you can mindlessly knit while watching tv or lounging around listening to music.
This pattern was well written and easy to follow, I had no trouble following it. I will definitely knit DROPS patterns in the future, they have so many nice free sweater patterns.
