this was a kit ordered from the icelandic knitter. i loved making this simple elegant shawl, icelandic lace wool is lovely, organic, so lightweight and warm. knit all in garter stitch, the construction makes it fully reversible! love the little eyelet flowers!

i used a very lightweight stitch marker to keep track of the right side, being sure to slip it through a few loops so it would stay!

someday i hope to take one of helene’s knit and hike tours in iceland!
